If you're reading this, you've found my Health Coach website - so WELCOME!!
I am extremely excited and passionate about this next life adventure, and I can't wait to share it with all of you.
I started this journey in September 2021, and I graduate as a certified Health Coach in April 2022. I have learned an incredible amount of knowledge from such a variety of leaders in this space, and I am going to share all of it with those who are seeking health advice!
As I have started this process, I have been asked questions like "What is a Health Coach?" "Is That The Same as a Nutritionist?" "Do You Coach Groups or Individuals?" "What Does a Health Coach Do?" So what better way to kick off this blog than to explain and help people understand why I am pursuing the title of a Health Coach.
Why did I choose to become a Health Coach?
When it comes to my passions in life, health and wellness is pretty freaking high on my list. I have always advocated for a healthy lifestyle and diet, but now I have the opportunity to turn my passion into working with others on their health.
I discovered the idea of a health coach last summer, and it felt like everything clicked into place. I can not only help others become healthier versions of themselves, but take a balanced approach that life is much more than eating kale and working out everyday.
The greatest component to this new chapter of my life is that I am extremely passionate about the entirety of health coaching that will only benefit all of the people I get the privilege to work with. There is no personal gain for me other than helping people reach their goals and live a healthy and happy life.
What Does My Certificate Mean and How Can I Use It To Help You?
The purpose of a Health Coach is to empower clients to meet their health and life goals with a holistic approach to make long-term and sustainable changes.
During my time enrolled in the Integrative Institute of Nutrition I gain information over a wide range of topics related to our personal health and wellness. The approach we bring to our coaching practices is that our health goes beyond what we eat and how often we go to the gym. Our health encompasses our stress, sleep, relationships, career, spirituality, money, social life, and overall joy. As I have spent the last handful of months broadening my perspective of these topics, and realizing how to best serve myself, I have also learned how to coach people in these areas as well.
Is Working With A Health Coach Worth the Time and Money?
The most important and impactful benefit of working with a health coach is the sustainable lifestyle and long-term results.
